In partnership with various higher institutions of learning, ICOBI is conducting MP3 and RC4 research targeting individualized HIV prevention Referral for HIV care and medical male circumcision respectively. Using participatory approaches, the organization raises awareness and helps people to test for HIV and other STI and encourages people in communities to seek medical care
MP3 real-time electronic data collection includes a risk assessment and prevention triage algorithm using mobile electronic system (Google phone). All HIV+ persons and uncircumcised HIV– men with multiple partners receive targeted, individualized HIV prevention referral for HIV care and, Male circumcision respectively
